Congratulations to Amber Niess of San Diego, California on the purchase of this excellent colt!  I know they will do superbly well and I am excited to watch Ramie grow up under such a practiced and loving hand.  Best wishes to you both!!

His sire, All Hands on Zip is one of the leading Huntseat horses in the Appaloosa industry. He has proven his ability in the show ring year after year in a variety of events. His crowning achievements are his World Champion wins in Junior Hunter Under Saddle.

This colt's dam, Super Swankie, is a 16 hand, Incentive Fund registered AQHA mare. She is by Super Star and a granddaughter of both Sierra Te and Skipa Star. Though she has not been shown out on the QH circuit, she competed and won in classes at the Texas A&M Horse Center Show in Hunter Under Saddle and Showmanship. She is a big, beautiful moving mare, with a long stride and slow legs.

Perhaps some of you remember Charleston, the 2002 solid colt that is a full brother to this year's baby.  Charleston was the most magnificent youngster and my pride and joy.  It was heartbreaking that the color rules stopped that awesome colt from competing in the show ring and showing his true potential.  We hope that this colt will color sufficiently for regular papers, or that the rules will change to recognize the quality of this youngster.

Ramie's other full brother is the colt we are keeping as our junior stallion, Jack, Jr (Play Your Best Hand).   Jack Jr (in some of the pictures below) is well over 15 hands as a yearling.   Ramie should be one of the top huntseat prospects in the industry.  Powerful mover with a great future in the show ring.
