Congratulations to Kelly Barnhill, Jarrettsville, Maryland, on the purchase of this wonderful, sweet mare.  I wish you many happy moments spent with Emma -- in the show ring and in the barn.  We are thrilled to have our beautiful Emma going to such a loving and fun home!  We can't wait to see you next year at the big shows!

November 2006 -- Here are some updated photos of Emma and Kelly -- they are doing very well with a big show year planned for 2007!  Keep up the great work Kelly -- you and Emma look FABULOUS!!!

28 August 2005 Update -- Emma is showing successfully and has National points in Novice Non-Pro HUS, Novice Non-Pro Huntseat Equitation, Non-Pro Hunter Under Saddle, Junior Hunter Under Saddle, Hunter Hack and Hunter In Hand Mares (approaching her ROM).

Emma is a big beautiful mare with a disposition of gold and talent to spare!  We got Emma just recently when a client was looking for a 2 year old and liked our Straw Berry and didn't feel that Emma was going to make a World caliber Open horse in the time frame they were working in.

Her bloodlines are impeccable.  Her mother is un-shown but her grandmother is the great Charlie's Girl, owned, shown and promoted by Rosie Kling of Grayling Farms.  Emma's sire is All Hands On Zip, multiple World Champion and sire of numerous World /National Champions in Open, Non-Pro & Youth events.

We would definitely be keeping this mare if we did not already have two 4 year old HUS mares to get shown.  Emma should get out there and be shown before settling down to have babies.

Emma was not started until she was a 3 year old so there was less risk of any damage done to growing bones.  She has been started and trained by Terry Thompson Inc and is going very well under saddle for us here on the farm..

This mare is a National/World caliber HUS mare in Non-Pro and Youth classes.  Especially with her good mind and tons of try -- she will always be working to do what you want her to do.
